This cute, little canvas was done for a friend who should be having her baby anytime this afternoon! I love this size canvas because it's chunky enough to stand up on its own. It's perfect to put on the shelf in a baby's nursery to add a little sassiness!
One of my sorority sisters messaged me a couple of months ago and asked if I would design some bridesmaid invitations for her. I was flattered that she thought of me and of course got working right away.
I had just finished designing my own invitations so I was in complete wedding mode. She was completely open to ideas, so I had a lot of fun coming up with several different designs. This pink and brown invitation is the one she chose and I just love it...Girly and elegant all at the same time!
Someone bought an "Eat, Drink, & Be Merry" canvas on Etsy, but asked that I add Dave's name at the bottom. Of course everyone knows who said those fine words, but it was nice to give credit to The Man. Thought I'd share how it turned out.
Due to dropping my camera a couple of months ago, I'm a LITTLE behind...but I'll do my best to catch you up on what I've been up to since then. First off, here are my Bridesmaid invitations! The 5 girls I picked to be in my wedding party pretty much knew they were going to be in it because we are that good of friends :) Because of that, I wanted to find a special way in asking them. The only way to pull that off was to be sneaky about it. By far my favorite Christmas song is Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is you" so when I was thinking of making Christmas cards this year, that came to mind and I immediately got the idea for these bridesmaid invitations. It was the perfect disguise! I quickly created the design, with the big surprise on the inside. Pauli was the first to call when she got hers and she was literally screaming in my ear! Needless to say everyone was very surprised and LOVED them!
