My New Little Niece!

After a week long visit to Connecticut, I am back in Little Rock. I can't say I was ready to come back...well, because I wasn't! Not only did I get to see my sister and brother-in-law, but I finally got to meet my first niece, Isla! She is even more beautiful than I ever imagined she could be. Not only is she the cutest thing ever with her big blue eyes, but she has the biggest personality ever. I didn't think a 2 month old could have that much personality. Every morning when I woke up, I would jump out of bed and go straight to see her...it was my favorite part of the day. She was always in the best mood, all giggly and ready to "talk" whether that meant making cooing noises or moving her little mouth around and sticking her tongue out. I got so attached to her in that week it was unbelievable. I cried like a baby when it was time to leave and didn't want to let her go. I told my sister I felt like I was giving up a baby for adoption or something...it was awful. I'm so glad I got to go visit my sister and spend a lot of one on one time with her because it doesn't happen often but it makes those times even more special. I miss all of them like crazy but I guess it's back to the real world for me...So that means I will be back to working on some paintings so come back soon to see new items.
